A big win for local farmers and producers | The Advocate – Hepburn

We’re launching a space for people to do their weekly grocery shop, find unique gifts, and be inspired.

Our aim is to present more opportunities to make ethical food choices, and to support small local area farm production. This market will also nurture and foster value-adders, lost trades artisans, artists and craftsfolk.

We are very keen to build the most nourishing, innovative and useful market we can.

A certified Victorian Sunday Farmers’ Market will begin this autumn, providing local farmers and producers with the opportunity to sell their products to consumers on a weekly basis. Produce for the Daylesford Sunday Farmers’ Market will be sourced from farmers and small businesses in Hepburn Shire and surrounding central highlands. Executive chef of Daylesford catering company Spade to Blade, Gary Thomas, is curating the new market.
